Soooo... I'm starting over, so it seemed appropriate to maybe start anew with this, too. The old journal is still there, but let's try this for a while...

About Me: I'm a 22-year-old mass comm grad student at Texas Tech. I'm getting used to Lubbock. I think it's funny to meet people who are coming here from an even smaller town/city and think its the bigtime.

I got my bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Arlington in May. I miss home, but I'm liking this whole living on my own thing. It's growing on me, at least.

I'm not totally decided on what I want to be when I grow up, though I'm leaning toward being some level of teacher at some level of college. I'd like to get my PhD and work at a university one day, but we'll see.

I was in band for a long time... played flute. I still miss it sometimes, especially in fall when I get nostalgic about marching band. Music is something that will always be very dear to my heart.

The username comes from Grey's Anatomy. I'm not one of those creepy, obsessed fans with posters of Patrick Dempsey all over my walls, but I definitley like the show. And, sometimes, yes, I'm dark and twisty. Even though I like pink. Strange, huh?
